About the role:

  • This is a fulltime permanent role, with the rate starting at $30.7
  • We pay a base rate, and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, you go to double time.
  • Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift.
  • You will be based out of Warwick Concrete Plant and occasionally without notice will need to transfer to Dalby or Toowoomba (travel allowance and overnight accommodation included).
  • Most days will start between 5am and 7am and around 3850 hours per week. Saturday work is always available.
  • As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before
  • We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
  • All new starts go through a 10day training program before we let you loose by yourself.

About you:

  • Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
  • You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite
  • You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks
  • You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
  • Able to pass a preemployment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Hanson sites)
