  • Casual on going with view to go perm after 6 months.
  • Field service and workshop roles available.
  • $ $57.96 per hour dependent on experience.
  • 7.00am – 3.30pm (1pm Finish on Fridays) plus lots of OT available at penalty rates.

Completes repairs and service to company products. Products include hydropower (turbines, generators, and plant), Rail, Marine vessels, Busses, and trucks.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support all activities related to the service, installation, repair or maintenance of company's products and other products taken on for service or repair. ie Buses and/or rail equipment
  • Work under the supervision of Workshop Supervisor.
  • Inspection and repair on equipment including testing and reporting.
  • Provision of technical service of a varied nature ensuring compliance with specifications provided by represented companies and clients, and that jobs are completed to schedule and to the required quality standards.
  • Disassembling faulty parts and tools and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Fitting and assembling parts, tools, or sub-assemblies


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Appropriate Trade qualification - Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Prefer completion of HSC or equivalent
  • Relevant practical experience in similar products and applying principles of mechanics.
  • Forklift license preferred, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in use of overhead crane preferred, but not essential.
