Your Opportunity

  • Coordinate with the operations teams to arrange for VIP arrivals include room preparations, meeting guests at checkin, and escorting guests to their rooms.
  • Deliver food, beverages, and other requested items to guests in suites.
  • Address any guest needs noted on the reservation by the reservations, sales, or other teams.
  • Coordinate with Guest Services and Engineering to meet special guests needs.
  • Coordinate laundry services for guests as requested, coordinating pickup and delivery of items as needed.
  • Complete room inventories and keep inventories appropriately provisioned, as appropriate.
  • Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Greets customers during the event phase and handsoff to the Banquet Operations team for the execution of details.
  • Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Identifies operational challenges associated with his/her event/wedding and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges\ and/or develop alternative solutions.
  • Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (preevent, event, postevent).
  • Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Build good relationships with all departments within the hotel and with clients.
  • Quote, negotiate, and contract a portfolio of catering and wedding events to ensure personal revenue targets for the year are achieved
  • Coordinate all weddings only events as directed.

What we ask of you

  • Passion for wedding industry and wedding trends in market.
  • Experience with Opera PMS preferred, but not require.
  • An uptodate RSA.
  • A genuinely warm & welcoming demeanor.
  • Energising motivation it's infectious no job is too big or too small
