THE ROLE
Work with a compassionate and dedicated team as an OSHC Educator with the YMCA SA.

Aldinga Payinthi OSHC is looking for trained OSHC Educators, to further children's social, emotional, and interpersonal development, provide the highest quality of customer service, and foster a supportive environment where children always feel safe and happy.

Even without qualifications, we have opportunities available for those who are passionate about providing quality care and education to children.


Reporting to the OSHC Service Director, you will:

  • Assist in delivering challenging and stimulating programs and activities for children
  • Provide quality care and educational experiences for children
  • Create a fun and exciting work atmosphere while being hardworking and goal orientated
  • Model and teach positive values such as care, honesty, respect, and responsibility
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect
  • Education and Care" Training
  • Knowledge of responsibilities under Child Safe Environments compliance
  • Sounds knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework
  • HLTAID009 CPR
  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care
  • Food Handling
  • SMART Training
