An opportunity to make a real difference in the community.


Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring and committed people to provide support to an inspiring 21-year-old woman who is outgoing, has a tracheostomy and uses a ventilator at times; support is provided both within the family home as well as in the community.- Team members receive support to achieve the skills required to deliver individualised disability support services - a great opportunity to improve and enhance your skills or transition from a different industry.

Full training is provided, including 'Buddy' shifts on commencement. Previous experience helpful but not required.- Ventilation and Tracheostomy Management

  • Showering, toileting, grooming and dressing
  • Preparing meals (no cooking involved)
  • Use of mobility equipment including power wheelchair and shower chair
  • Going on outings (in the community)
  • Medication administration
  • Participating in physical therapy


You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
