We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Manager to join our team for an exciting construction project.

As the Materials Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely procurement, efficient storage, and effective distribution of materials to support project objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure materials required for the construction project, negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers.
  • Manage inventory levels and anticipate future material needs to prevent shortages.
  • Coordinate the transportation of materials to and from the construction site.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of material transactions and generate reports on material usage and procurement costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in materials management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management techniques, and logistics principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
