Join our manufacturing client as a RTW Specialist in Hobart. You will support injured employees, managers, and stakeholders to ensure a successful return to work program. Responsibilities include responding to injury claims, implementing early intervention strategies, and managing return to work plans.

Duties:

  • Provide expert support for employee rehabilitation and early return to work across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to reduce injuries and minimise time off work.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for injured workers' RTW, documentation, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain claim and injury registers, and attend medical appointments for effective case management.
  • Assist staff with Workcover claims and provide monthly reports on claims management.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify suitable duties and support workers' recovery and return to work.
  • Contribute to improving Workcover performance and achieving organisational goals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide advice on workers' compensation.
  • Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.
  • Allied Health background is an advantage
  • Strong coordination and understanding of Worker's Compensation legislation in Tasmania.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • ReturntoWork/Injury Management experience
