- About the job Company Description Tailoring Therapy is looking for another team member Role Description Tailoring Therapy, located in the Perth suburb of Subiaco, is looking for a Psychologist/Sexologist/Relationship Therapist/Counsellor. We have special interests in Sexology, relationship therapy, trauma, eating disorders, and personality disorders. We welcome all genders and are kink and poly-friendly. About you:
- General Registration in Psychology with AHPRA; or
- Registration with your professional body;
- Experienced in counseling, psychotherapy, psychological therapy;
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from LGBTQIA+ and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;
- Love working in a team and don't mind being independent at the same time;
- Value putting time aside for peer supervision and PD.
- We're still a small team, but we're growing;
- We knock on each other's doors and get advice/debrief/a shoulder to cry on/a victory dance for a win
- We have a superstar part-time admin assistant;
- We buy each-other coffee;
- We love our work (ok maybe not every aspect of it) and our aim is to create a supportive team environment, to try and alleviate the, sometimes very noticeable, sense of isolation that can accompany working as a psychologist in private practice.
