Our client is one of the suppliers behind many niche food manufacturers, with an excellent reputation as an employer of choice.

Osborne Richardson have been appointed to assist in their search for a Warehouse Manager to oversee inbound and outbound logistics in addition to their operating assets.

This opportunity will see you coordinating all stock on site, day to day implementation of HACCP and WHS protocols. You will also be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide conscientious and supportive leadership and supervision of the frontline team
  • Work with Sales and Purchasing to ensure daily supply in and outward, coordinating staff, transport and customer orders
  • Develop and guide the implementation of the CI Plan
  • Assist in the development and execution of the warehouse and distribution training and development strategy
  • Supervise and lead all team briefings and training
  • Schedule all QLD deliveries to ensure DIFOT
  • Ensure Warehouse compliance to site Food Safety standards and H&S
  • Maintain all company and regulatory safety standards; lead and actively participate in, site safety walks, toolboxes, and other meetings where safety is a topic
  • Creation and execution of weekly Warehouse crewing plan based on sales and production forecast
  • Responsibility for maintaining the vehicle fleet
  • Manage the execution of stocktake (internal and external), damages reporting including posting, reconciliation variance analysis and consolidation of supporting documentation.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Essential experience in a leadership role within the food manufacturing sector
  • Demonstrated inventory management experience gained within a high volume FMCG industry or related environment
  • Strong leadership experience with exposure to performance management processes
  • Strong communication, influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Passion for maintaining safety standards
  • Results oriented
  • A willingness to perform a very hands on role
  • Current Forklift ticket essential and MR Licence would be advantageous
