The Organisation:

As the Principal Management Accountant, you will be working in a complex area with large volumes of data while providing critical support around financial performance, budget management and funding to senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
Data analysis and reporting around capital projects.
Provide high-level strategic advice to support critical areas and senior managers around management reporting, governance and proposals.
Support with the development of management accountabilities to ensure compliance with the department's financial management framework.
Undertake detailed financial analysis work.

This will require working through huge volumes of data while working to understand and interpret the data to better support the department.

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budget planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications & Experience:
CPA or CAExperience working in a similar position across capital projects.
Extensive experience in management accounting and financial reporting demonstrated in a leadership role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, Power Bi and financial modelling.
