About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within the Office of the CEO to join the team as Manager (ASO6) full time, ongoing.

As the Manager of the Office of the CEO, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
  • Ensuring the provision of timely, concise and accurate support to the CEO including identifying, monitoring and attending to priority and urgent enquiries to ensure resolution and quality control of responses
  • Extensive liaison with senior management, the Office of the Chief Executive, Department for Health and Wellbeing, senior executives in the public and private sector and clients
  • Operating within a political context and maintaining sensitivity, awareness of, and adherence to political processes and protocols

About You

To be successful in this role, you will use your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective and appropriate communication with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, your demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff will be heavily relied upon to ensure effective staff performance management.
