Senior Medical Officer / General Practitioner

We are currently collaborating with key public health clients to hire committed Senior Medical Officers, Specialists, and General Practitioners to deliver comprehensive medical services that cater to the diverse needs of patients and the community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to push your professional boundaries, become a valued member of the local community, build strong relationships with fellow health professionals, and offer top-notch, patient-focused medical care.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Competence and proficiency in general practice, rural medicine, or primary health (especially in a hospital-based practice and/or rural health environment)
  • Capability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead the team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in clinical practice and corporate settings
  • Dedication to enhancing healthcare standards and patient safety in both the hospital and the community
  • Demonstrated capacity to organize work and operate independently
  • Current or eligible to apply for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
  • General Practice Fellowship (FACRRM, FRACGP) or equivalent, ACRRM (Independent Pathway) or on GP Training Program

Proficiency in Rural Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, or Anaesthesia would be highly beneficial.
