About the Company

Our client is a highly regarded financial services provider with a skilled team of specialists that are committed to acting in the best interests of their clients.

Reporting to the team manager, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of investment reports, contribution and attribution analysis, and performance analytics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform attribution calculations for managed schemes and client portfolios;
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc performance reports and other relevant data;
  • Support in providing advice, updates and assistance to other teams within the business;
  • Manage the maintenance and updating of data systems and performance metrics;
  • Liaise with external service providers as required to complete reporting outcomes;
  • Identify and report compliance incidents to the team manager as necessary.; AND
  • Support the manager and the broader teams on process improvements and business projects requiring the performance reporting team's input.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant disciplines. Postgraduate degree or CFA certifications are highly advantageous;
  • Minimum of 12 years' demonstrated experience and understanding of performance reporting, its methodologies, metrics, and local/global standards;
  • Working knowledge of Australian and international equity markets and the funds management industry;
  • Experience using performance platforms and performing income, capital and franking credit returns is highly desirable;
  • Ability to engage in critical reasoning and analytical thinking;
  • Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and MS Suite;
  • Keen attention to detail in order to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement;
  • Professional and adaptable to change; AND
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
