The Yardsman is responsible for:

• Maintenance of the external yard area inclusive of load out pad, footpath, staff carpark, basement/ workshop area and general surrounds
• Operation of equipment such as lawnmowers, whipper snippers, spray packs, blowers and high-pressure cleaners in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and/or site policies and procedures
• Removal of waste, rubbish, weeds, litter and clutter from the external area and management of routine and periodic cleaning to ensure street appeal is maintained
• Sweeping of external staff areas and basement areas
• High pressure cleaning of office and staff carpark, loadout area, external concrete areas
• Cleaning of external windows and doors to ensure they are maintained to a high standard
• Cleaning, sweeping and hosing as required of external docking areas
• Completion of relevant pre-start inspections for all equipment utilised as part of the role
• Daily inspection of external area, including bait stations to ensure area is maintained to a high standard
• Weekly audit of structure and surrounds ensuring concerns are report to the maintenance team
