About the role
Full-time permanent role responsible for for employee injury management, rehabilitation, return to work and workers' compensation claims management across all Calvary ACT services and sites.
Your main duties will include:
Proactively responding to, assessing and case managing workplace injury and driving early intervention, recovery, rehabilitation and return to work objectives in accordance with Calvary's Injury Management Policy and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Engaging with, collaborating with, influencing, upskilling and managing key stakeholders in delivering on early injury intervention, rehabilitation management and return to work objectives.
Working closely with the ACT regional leadership to deliver best practice, cost effective injury and claims management, as well as being the conduit and key point of contact with Calvary's insurer for workers' compensation claims management.
Relevant experience in a return to work and/or injury management role (minimum 4 years)
Allied health qualifications
Ability to effectively lead the coordination of workers compensation claims management processes and early intervention strategies
Demonstrated ability to lead, persuade, negotiate, consult with, and provide advice on injury management, workers compensation claims management and rehabilitation issues
Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
