About the role:

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed term, permanent part time basis. Working 3 days per week, the Payroll Officerwill join a capable team who complete all end-to-end functions, processing for fortnightly pay groups. You will be responsible for the maintenance of personnel files and other sensitive, confidential information. Your role will encompass interpreting awards and providing guidance to employees on a variety of payroll related matters.

What you will bring to the role:

We are looking for a problem solver, with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail, who can work in a fast-paced environment and has great customer service skills. In a practical sense, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end payroll services in a high volume and complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience using payroll systems and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience in the full remit of payroll functions including superannuation, Single-touch payroll, entitlements, terminations and salary sacrifice.
  • Experience in the use of TechnologyOne will be advantageous, but is not a key requirement for this role.
