My Client, are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician with a strong Mechanical Capability to join their team. This will be a mobile based position attending to Clients Fully automated distribution centres around Melbourne. Therefore, you will be provided with a fully equipped company vehicle.
The role
As a skilled Maintenance Electrician with a strong mechanical capability, the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from breakdowns, general maintenance through to troubleshooting and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong Fault finding skills
- Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
- Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
- Diagnostics and fault finding.
- Process improvement of plant and equipment.
- Screw and belt conveyors.
- Pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Operate & Service Machinery.
- Provide technical support to the production team.
- Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.
Experience:
- Trade Qualified Electrician (A Grade) with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in FMCG MAINTENANCE OR Automated DC's.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Experienced in fault finding/diagnosis
- Knowledge of automated warehouse machinery is highly desirable.
