About The Role


In our Ramsay New Farm Clinic, we provide a
variety of nutritious meals to patients and staff in our dining room.

As a crucial part of the team, your responsibilities in this role include:

  • Preparation of high quality, nutritious cold larder sandwiches, salads and desserts for private hospital patients and doctors
  • Ensuring food hygiene, maintaining a clean working area and adhering to safety practices
  • Collaborating with the broader team and offering assistance as required
  • Stock management

Availability to work across a 7-day roster, encompassing morning and afternoon shifts is essential.

Your Skills and Experiences


We are actively looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations.


  • Punctuality, reliability and a dedication to providing genuine, friendly customer service are essential attributes.

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emphasizing a strong customer focus.
  • Adherence to HACCP, Food safety and Workplace Health and Safety standards
  • Desirable: Certificate II or III in Hospitality

Willingness to embrace and uphold Ramsay's core values.

Remuneration:

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $ casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
