What our new Domestic Assistant Superstar looks like

As a domestic assistant cleaner, you will make a difference by providing domestic support to our Disability or Aged Care Program clients by aiding them to remain independent and living in their own home within the community. You will work with clients using a wellness approach and provide support in tasks such as: cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping.

What's in it for you (the GOOD stuff):

  • $30 to $49 per hour
  • 3 to 8 hr shifts
  • 20 to 30 hours per week
  • Potential weekly earnings of $1,200 gross

Here at Conexson, we nurture potential, but we do desire you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:

  • Experience in providing general cleaning services within a home or community setting (we will consider transferable skillsets)
  • Ability to bend, kneel and lift correctly to complete duties safely
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst following procedures with well-developed communication skills and friendly nature
  • Basic skills using a smart device
  • Driving licence and reliable vehicle to use for work purposes

Formalities (The serious stuff):

As directed by Public Health Order, staff at Conexson will be required, as a condition of employment, to maintain full COVID-19 vaccination status including booster doses. If offered a role with Conexson, you will be required to provide evidence prior to joining.

Appointments to this position will also need a National Police Clearance, Flu Vaccination, Blue Card and evedence of the right to work in Australia.
