What an opportunity
The Chemist Warehouse Group is one of Australia's largest retail OMNI channel businesses and Australia's largest retail pharmacy.

Our Digital presence is extensive, and we operate a highly equipped in-house digital marketing & ecommerce operation that is responsible for over 200 campaigns at any point in time- Our dynamic and fast paced operation is based in Preston, and we are now seeking a Data Analyst to join the team.

This is a newly created role and you will be reporting to the Data Analytics and Insights Lead. This role will play a key part in assisting Digital & Ecommerce team with the data and reporting strategy.
About the role

  • Based at our head office in Preston, our Data Analyst will be assisting in setting up the data analytics, reporting and insights function, including developing detailed dashboards that can be utilised/distributed to internal stakeholders within the business as well as external stakeholders
  • What you will do:
  • Reporting on past events, issues and trends so that other employees can learn from them
  • Setup/Work within house dev's and our external agency to structure data bases
  • Assist ecommerce and digital team with adhoc data and reporting request
  • Working closely with data lead and other leads around their reporting requirements
  • Using a variety of data analysis tools to analyse and report on data
  • Creating data driven environment across the department and organisation
  • Use statistical methods to analyse data and generate useful business reports
  • Work with the data team to implement AL/ML models

About you

  • At least 2+ years' experience in a data analyst role in digital or ecommerce. Working at agency/publisher side preferred
  • Experience with GA4 and GTM
  • Experience working on reporting/dashboards
  • Experience working on big data and structures
  • A love of numbers and data and a willingness to make decisions based on key data points.
  • Good knowledge of cloud data platforms
  • Proficient with SQL and experience with cloud databases
  • Knowledge of SQL/BigQuery/ML/AI (desirable)
  • Proficient with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
