Company Overview:

Some of your key responsibilities might include :Legal Strategy & Leadership : Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the business objectives, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Risk Management :
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the organisation, providing solutions-oriented advice to senior leadership

Contract Management :
Lead negotiations and draft a variety of commercial contracts. Oversee and deliver service agreements, supply and purchase agreements, and advise on joint ventures.

Dispute Resolution :
Advise and assist in resolving disputes with partners and key suppliers, including managing claims and disputes with contractors and suppliers

Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, including healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and employment legislation. Develop and implement internal policies for regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights on legal implications of business decisions and build strong relationships with external stakeholders

Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor junior members of the legal team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills you'll have :

Educational Background :
Possesses a Bachelor of Law or its equivalent, and hold a current, unrestricted practicing certificate

Experience :
At least 6 years' post-qualification experience, including ideally some relevant experience in practice as well as in-house. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly regarded but not mandatory.

Creative and Business-Oriented :
Consistently delivers creative, thoughtful, and business-oriented results that appropriately balance growth and risk in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Flexibility :
Willingness to work with all levels of the organisation, and to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
