About Our Client:


Our client is a locally founded ASX listed organisation who provides state of the art innovative design and products that are used on an international scale.

With a strong presence here locally and a track record across international borders they are looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to join them on this exciting journey.


This role is a key member of the leadership team and will report directly into the CEO and oversee a small finance team all based locally.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparation and presenting accurate monthly/quarterly reports for management teams
  • Financial control, statutory obligations, and process improvement
  • Liaising with external auditors for preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance
  • Budgeting and forecasting including long term strategic forecasting, annual budgeting
  • Financial analysis, including investment cash flows and other decisionmaking analytics
  • Undertaking / directing financial due diligence on prospective acquisitions and joint venture investing opportunities
  • Manage, lead and develop a small team

The Successful Applicant:


To be successful in this role you will be a qualified CPA of CA and have a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards having worked in an ASX and ideally chartered environment working with Smaller to Medium sized companies.

You will have performed a Senior Finance role of a similar nature either in a Group Financial Controller, CFO, Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller role and will be looking for next step in your career.

Crucial to your success in this role, you will be a problem solver and lateral thinker who has a 'can do' attitude and enjoys leading a team and business partnering with stakeholders.

In addition to this, you will be able to think on a strategic level and understand how the organisations' objectives are met through team work, execution of strategy and strong cashflow management.

Those with experience across the Technology, Biotech, MedTech or Life Science sector will be highly regarded.
