We are Currently seeking Road Construction Workers, plant operator's, truck drivers and drainage personnel for one of the local WA councils.

Shifts will be 9 days per fortnight but 10 days can also be accommodated for the on going works. Shift will be from 6:45Am to 03:41Pm.

Minimum Requirement

  • Hr licence
  • Vaccinated
  • White card
  • Industry experience
  • Physically fit
  • PPE

Portfolio Responsibilities

  • General Labouring on a variety of road construction and road maintenance activities
  • Operation of Roller, Front Loader, Tractor broom, MR & HR duties
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site
  • Lay formwork and concrete for footpaths, kerb, gutter and pits
  • Bitumen road repairs utilising cold mix or bitumen emulsion
  • Duties associated with traffic facilities such as fencing, erecting and replacing signs, signposts and guideposts
  • Pipe laying duties, including backfilling and road restoration

About you

  • Ability to cope with physical labour. Training in manual handling, load restraint and SWNELP would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to operate small items of plant, including quick cut saws and power tools.
  • Previous experience with road construction and maintenance labouring work
  • Possession of a MR or HR truck driver's licence, or a plant operator's ticket, such as roller, bobcat or backhoe would be highly regarded.
  • Current White Card required
  • Current "C" class driver's licence required
