2024 Ophthalmology Fellow
About the Role
The Western Health Ophthalmology Unit is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Fellow for a 6 or 12 month fixed term contract to join our team in providing evidence based best practice in 2024.
The successful applicant will join an established team providing services to one of the fastest growing regions in Australia with a projected population growth of 33% over the next 15 years.
The Unit provides a 24-hour service with a Registrar and a Consultant on-call at Footscray Hospital with an emergency paediatric service at the Sunshine campus.
To Be Successful In This Role
- Have a primary medical qualification MBBS or equivalent
- Hold current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Have relevant clinical experience in area of discipline
- Are committed to ongoing CPD as well as teaching and supervision of junior medical staff
