ABOUT THE ROLE


The Quality & Safety Business Partner works in collaboration with the business to provide on the ground advice, support, monitoring and coaching at site and service delivery levels.

The role is also responsible for conducting internal audits ensuring governance and safety management systems are effective.

Activities include but are not limited to supporting policy development and implementation, supporting the coaching of staff against organisational policy/ procedures and frameworks as directed, conducting site based audits against internal benchmarks and regulatory frameworks (for example NDIS, QIC, NIISQ), supporting the investigation of incidents and near misses, supporting third party audits and maintaining compliance, organisational reporting, and leading self-assessments and accreditation preparations.

This is a hands-on role which requires you to work autonomously and within the context of a team, whilst building and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You are a high energy professional who has excellent interpersonal skills and a high attention to detail and time management.

There will be planned travel in the role between South Brisbane and Coffs Harbour on a regular basis, to support the services within and between these areas.

Criteria:

  • Minimum
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma level to Bachelor) or relevant and commensurate experience.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • A thorough understanding of quality frameworks and risk.
  • An in depth knowledge of and experience with any or all of the Momentum Collective Service areas, such as SIL environments, specialist homelessness services and/or domestic violence support services will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with quality assurance activities including internal audits.
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Experience in writing high level reports for executive members of the organisation.
  • Experience in a compliance, auditing and quality improvement role.
  • Passion for improving processes and services.
  • Proactive, a selfstarter, highly organised, exceptional attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience of cross functional auditing across a complex business setting.
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Medium to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, at a minimum. Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio useful.
  • A creative, resourceful and innovative approach with an eagerness to think outside the box.
  • Lead auditor qualifications and Accredited Return to work Coordinator desirable but not essential.
