What You'll Be Working On:


This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking exposure across all areas of Human Resources and who thrives on working in a fast paced and friendly environment.


You will undertake the full range of generalist human resources activities encompassing recruitment and selection, employee relations, learning and development, policy development and HRIS management.


You will also deliver key projects which directly support management and staff and enable the Council to meet its current and future goals.


What You'll Bring to the Role:
To be successful in this role, you will be professionally presented with proven experience in a similar role.

You will be able to demonstrate your project and time management skills in order to work on a number of projects simultaneously and juggle competing demands.


In this role, you will also be facilitating meetings, engaging with a variety of stakeholders to achieve outcomes so you will need to have strong communication and presentation skills.

You'll be able to see the big picture while maintaining strong attention to detail.


In addition to the above, you'll also have tertiary qualifications in human resources, industrial relations or related field, and a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
