TEN Recruitment is looking for an experienced and reliable

Maintenance Supervisor to work for a leading Mining Company. This permanent position will see you working FIFO from Perth to the project site, located in the Pilbara region of WA, on a roster of 2:1.


The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and performing preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment is available and able to meet the operational requirements.


Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supervise and direct a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring compliance with maintenance plans, equipment lifecycle requirements, established work rules and all safety procedures.
  • Provide accurate recording of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all servicing is done in a timely manner to the highest standard to ensure plant and equipment availability.
  • Support the Maintenance Superintendent with analysis and investigation of equipment.
  • Maintain a safe workplace, ensuring all personnel have been adequately trained.
  • Be the focal point for technical guidance within the workshop.
  • Address technical issues promptly to ensure the production plan is met.
  • Ensure equipment is operated safely and carefully to prevent damage.
  • Personal development and mentoring for maintenance employees.
  • Deal with disciplinary situations accordingly as per the company policies.
  • Manage direct feedback reviews and reports on each roster.
  • Guide the maintenance team through heavy equipment rebuilds in accordance with the workshop maintenance plan.

Essential criteria:

  • Strong knowledge of a range of technical equipment.
  • Certification in Frontline Management.
  • Sound understanding of preventative maintenance methods, equipment capabilities and maintenance scheduling.
  • Dedicated commitment to occupational health and safety.
  • Indepth knowledge of mining and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate with employees at all levels of the business.
