About the Role:
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is responsible for leading and coordinating the Surgical Ward 2H to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice, patient centred care within a healthcare team, and is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient human, material and financial resource management.

About You:

You will contribute to our team with your passion and expertise in discipline/position title with the ability to:

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service, and the ability to use their empathy and discretion related to sensitive situations
  • well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise workloads during busy periods
  • Capability to work autonomously and within a team-environment, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
