Mantra on View is in the centre of Surfers, offering hotel -style rooms and suites which appeal to a cross-section of business and leisure travellers. It has a pan -Asian food offering in its onsite restaurant, Nosh, and is also a leading conference and function destination, with state of the art facilities and theatre style seating for up to 550.

We are currently looking for a passionate and meticulous
Cluster Conference & Events Executive to join our dedicated team.

As our next Cluster Conference & Events Executive, you will:

• Report to the Director of Conference & Events
• Be responsible for determining clients' event and meeting needs,
• Respond to client enquiries, and providing quotes for conference and event proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring maximization of revenue for the cluster of conference and event venues across the Gold Coast.
• Mentor and support the property coordinators to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved and monitor success on a monthly basis
• Continually liaise with the operational team to ensure high quality, impeccable service and experience is provided.

What we are looking for:

• To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the ability to excel in a multi property / cluster environment.
• You will also bring with you previous sales experience including outbound calling and proven experience meeting established KPIs.
• You will ideally have knowledge of IVvy and Sihot systems, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential.
• You will pride yourself on your excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner, a high standard of personal presentation,
• Experience in training and development of event coordinators, and
• Above all else, your ability to produce an exemplary and consistent service to your clients.
