Seeking a Cyber Security Education and Reporting Analyst to join a government agency.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing cyber security education programs, creating security awareness training content, and providing regular reporting on cyber security incidents and trends.

You will be a critical member of the team providing functional education and reporting services.

Working across an integrated team of cyber security specialists supporting the business and whilst raising the awareness of cyber within the business.


You will be responsible for two core functions:

Developing cyber education materials and programs, taking into consideration the needs of the business, along with the latest developments in technology that impact on the sector.

The second core function will be the reporting elements for the cyber security team.

You will support and shape how reporting is coordinated and delivered to the business articulating business opportunities, risk and resilience objectives and overall cyber security effectiveness.


Other responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cyber security education programs for all employees.
  • Create security awareness training content.
  • Develop and maintain a cyber security incident reporting process.
  • Provide regular reporting on cyber security incidents and trends.
  • Identify and address cyber security risks.
  • Assist the business in understanding new and emerging cyber risks.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and best practices
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents as they arise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in developing and maintaining cyber reporting obligations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or Security Reporting Analyst.
  • Welldeveloped written and oral communication skills, including writing for a wide range of technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to conduct research and create content, for a variety of communications channels such as print, digital, online and social media.
  • Understanding of methods for gathering and analysing stakeholder feedback on content and campaigns, including collating and interpreting weekly data analytics for multiple reporting.
  • Knowledge of cyber security best practices and Australian Government security standards, such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

  • Canberra and Brisbane location.
  • Hybrid working 2/3 days onsite, 2 days WFH.
