JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Managing supplier programs and relationships, ensuring high levels of service both internally and externally.
  • Overseeing the Request for Pricing (RFP) process, dealing with vendor queries, and providing solutions.
  • Assisting in enhancing valueadded benefits for our clients.
  • Handling data management tasks such as collecting and storing hotel information, ensuring accuracy, and updating files as needed.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with hoteliers and other suppliers, attending industry events to enhance our company's profile.
  • Coordinating staff training and development initiatives.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of backoffice systems related to suppliers and liaising with other departments for effective database use.
  • Operating in compliance with local legislation and company policies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Relevant experience in travel procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills
- knowledge of supplier contracts, pricing, and RFP processes.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian hotels and car hire suppliers
  • Strong customer service, change management, and time management skills.
