Auto Electrician Position

  • Multiple permanent positions available
  • Work a 9-day fortnight and half day every 2nd Friday
  • Long term stable work opportunities with overtime availability
  • Day shift hours for immediate start in Clayton North

About the Company:
Our client, a prominent vehicle manufacturer in Clayton North, is searching for a skilled Auto Electrician to join their team. With over 80 years of experience in the field and a vibrant company culture, they offer a fantastic work environment. Your responsibilities will include electrical installations, diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

  • Auto electrical installations
  • Diagnostics and repairs
  • Continuous improvement tasks
  • Mechanical fault finding and adjustments
  • Reading and following SOPs
  • Strict adherence to safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Preferably an auto electrician trade qualification
  • Experience in heavy vehicle industry or similar Automotive setting
  • Proficiency in auto electrical wiring and fault diagnosis
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and handle ad hoc duties
  • Basic tools required

Work Hours:
Week 1- 6am - 3:15pm Monday to Thursday & 6am- 12pm Friday
Week 2- 6am - 3:15pm Monday to Thursday & RDO Friday

Compensation:
Up to $41 per hour based on experience, plus super and overtime pay

Applicants must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible for this role.
