An exciting opportunity for a new Veterinary Nurse has become available within our team on a Permanent Part-time basis. Our clinic is located on the north-side of Brisbane in Murrumba Downs.

We are looking for an experienced Certificate IV Vet Nurse to join our amazing team of five Vets and seven Nurses.

Experience or an interest in exotics would be an advantage.

Do you love exotics? We sure do, and every day brings something new at VetMD.

Our team of Vets see Cats, Dogs, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Lizards, Fish, Turtles, Snakes and Birds just to name a few.

We also see a lot of injured wildlife, and our Lead Veterinarian has memberships in Unusual Pets and Birds.

We pride ourselves on our friendly culture, along with our ability to provide our clients and patients with the highest standards of care.

We have all the usual goodies including ultrasound, digital radiology (including dental), Idexx in house labs and multi-parameter monitoring machines.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Veterinary Nurse who wants to develop their exotics nursing skills in a busy and stimulating environment.

What we can offer you:

  • A Permanent Part-time varied role, approximately 30hrs a week with some Saturday shifts.
We are looking for:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
  • An ability to work individually and within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic attitude, good sense of humour and exceptional client relationship building skills.
