The role and what we are looking for


The Group Manager - Member Experience & Research will lead a team in identifying, designing, and implementing organisation-wide programs to deliver great experiences for the Capricorn community.

By overseeing the market research and insights program of work, this leader will prioritise a schedule of improvement projects to deliver Community centric solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Member Experience Strategy for the Capricorn group, ensuring alignment with group strategy.
  • Drive Capricorn Community Centricity, championing an approach that balances insights with commercial drivers to create compelling experiences.
  • Plan and execute the design of exceptional Member, Supplier, and partner experiences by creating insight led artefacts, including current and future state journey maps and service blueprints.
  • Lead the development, analysis and interpretation of Member, Supplier, business, and industry insights to inform strategy development. Ensure best practice methods and tools that enable strategic insight into Member segments, trends, needs, and expectations are implemented.
  • Represent the Member across a wide variety of projects and initiatives, embedding a communitycentric approach to decision making. Provide input into scope prioritisation assessments as required.
  • Bring stakeholders together to empathise and understand experience touchpoints, including digital and physical channels. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to build programs that connect people, process, and technology, aligned to the target state experience.
  • Contribute to the development of annual and longerterm business plans. Develop, manage, and track expense budgets and report on variances.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team, ensuring individuals have clarity of team and individual goals, accountabilities, and responsibilities.
  • Foster a culture that is open to change and supports continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in customer experience, market research, strategy, and planning.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and managing resources to deliver objectives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cx strategies and tools
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications or related discipline.
