Are you proficient in ServiceNow? Do you have a broad knowledge of hardware and software and excellent communication skills?You will be responsible for driving restoration, recovery and review of Major Incidents based on best practise within an ITIL Framework and will make a difference by:

  • Leading, responding, driving, facilitating and chairing all Major Incident investigation activities, meetings, and conference calls with relevant stakeholders
  • Review incidents to ensure correct processes are adopted and where necessary provide feedback based on the review/audit
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the incident, major incident and event management process flow documentation (flow charts, roles and responsibilities, knowledge articles etc.), to ensure consistency with the Process Quality Framework. Actively participate in Continual Service Improvement by identifying improvements to the incident, major incident management processes
  • Monitor and coordinate with resolve groups, vendors and asset owners to resolve the incident in line with resolution SLA's

A little bit about you

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or IT
  • Proven technical experience in the IT industry
  • Proven experience as an Incident Manager
  • ITIL accreditation
