Supervisor Traction

About the role:

Reporting to the Superintendent of Traction this role provides the front-line management to the Traction Maintenance teams by supervising and directing service plans. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership teams enabling the delivery of reliable maintenance services alongside continuous improvement activities.

• A natural leader that effortlessly champions a safety culture which promotes, creates and maintains a safe approach in all aspects of the operation.
• Coach and mentor, your team to achieve the team target and quality standards ensuring results meet customer's expectations.
• Develop rosters, on time performance and deliverables against benchmarks and standards of performance.
• Provide daily management and support to team with regards to development and staff deliverables
• You will set clear, current and measurable goals and objectives aligned with the plan and business.
• Provide advice, coaching and support to your direct reports, achieving performance objectives that promote high performing teams.

About you:

• Trade qualification Qld Electrical Linesperson Certificate 3 - Traction (Mandatory)
• Ability to manage and prioritising work schedules in different operational areas including along with personnel management.
• High level of technical competence and ability to undertake operational tasks in the field.
