About the team
Our dynamic Workplace Relations and Safety team has recently welcomed Jane Hall, a top health and safety lawyer in the industry.

Jane's extensive expertise enhances our existing team of over 20 safety lawyers in various states of Australia and strengthens our national presence.

Aside from legal settings, our team is dedicated to providing crucial advice in diverse environments such as construction sites, warehouses, factories, quarries, and even on transportation vehicles.

Jane's practice focuses on three key areas - Regulatory investigations and prosecutions; strategic advice; and WHS legal education and training.

About the role
Jane is seeking a Senior Associate to join her team. You will collaborate closely with Jane, engage directly with clients, and oversee cases from start to finish.

Working with clients ranging from major corporations to government entities, you will handle a wide range of health and safety matters including litigation, safety systems, and compliance frameworks. In addition to casework, you will guide boards and leadership teams in managing safety risks and meeting regulatory requirements.

This role involves complex tasks and demands building solid relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.

It is an engaging position offering a great chance for ambitious professionals to advance their legal career in a supportive and growing environment, assisting premium clients.

About you
Due to the variety of work within the team, we are open to candidates currently active in this field or those with experience in criminal or regulatory litigation seeking to transition.

Key requirements include experience in:

  • Managing client files
  • Litigation work including court representation, engaging experts, criminal procedures, and providing advice to corporate clients
  • Interacting with regulators and prosecutors
