About the Role

Due to company growth, CareSouth is looking for an experienced Caseworker to support two residential homes located in Queanbeyan in a fulltime permanent capcity

A day in the life of a Caseworker
As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which works dynamically across the child protection spectrum.

A typical day could include:

  • You will work closely with the young people in our OOHC service to support the development of their independent living skills, engagement with education, social skills and community engagement.
  • You will participate in planning and delivery of structured activities, play an active role in implementing and supporting household routines
  • Supportive collaboration with a diverse team to share knowledge and insight to help achieve best outcomes for children and young people
  • Documenting children and young people's goals, journey and milestones
  • Helping children and young people achieve permanency so they have a home for life.
