The Role and Location:

  • Offering the option for the General Manager to reside onsite in a 1 bedroom apartment, though not mandatory
  • Requirement to hold a NSW Real Estate Licence. Accor will provide assistance if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the properties including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service, and achieving financial targets
  • Lead and develop the team to ensure profitability and success
  • Drive changes and improvements in performance, implementing strategies in line with business objectives
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional shared services
  • Maintain product and service standards, maximize revenue, and balance expenses
  • Recruit and develop an engaged team focused on positive customer sentiment
  • Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering engagement
  • Provide after-hours support for the team and operation as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate Operational, Hotel or General Manager experience with a strong Rooms Division background
  • Display confidence in cultivating relationships, addressing challenging situations, and enhancing service quality
  • Drive financial growth through strategic planning and understanding key metrics in hospitality businesses
  • Past experience with body corporates in an MLR setting highly regarded
