Atlas Traffic Management (Atlas) is part of the Kypreos Group which has operated within the Civil Construction industry for over 50 years and is still owned and operated by the founding family members. Atlas delivers traffic management capabilities to support our Group operations as well as our external client base across the Sydney Metro, Greater Sydney and Regional NSW.

The Opportunity

Atlas is looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Traffic Management Operations Manager to join our team to lead and support the growth of our traffic control division.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer – Contracting Services you will provide operational leadership and oversight of the Atlas team to help manage our day-to-day operations and cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to help drive and meet our strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational business plans for Atlas that aligns with the Company's and Groups vision and objectives to help manage current business operations and future growth.
  • Work alongside our operations team members and traffic control staff to lead and motivate the Atlas team and provide support to achieve strategic, operational, financial, quality, safety and client outcomes.
  • Manage financial performance of the business including developing and monitoring budgets and goals and implementing strategies to manage and increase profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with business, client, quality, environmental and occupational health and safety guidelines and regulations and industry standards across the business.
  • Foster strong relationships with our employees, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to proactively manage and grow the business.

About You

  • Demonstrated success in managing traffic management operations.
  • Possess traffic control tickets.
  • In-depth knowledge of traffic and civil construction regulations and industry trends.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the capability to engage with a wide-range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to budgets and financial performance and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be expected to successfully complete a Pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.
