Position Summary

We're seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to deliver outstanding care to our disability clients in Warwick Community

  • As a Disability Support Worker, you can make a difference to the lives of our clients we support under the NDIS. You will work with our valued clients who may be impacted by physical and/or psychological disabilities.
  • The support we provide is diverse and you will be helping our clients in their own homes, within group care homes and assisting them with daily tasks and activities that may include:
  • Day to day household and/or personal tasks (such as bathing/toileting) which could include overnight stays
  • Daily activities, such as getting out for a coffee or catchup with friends, participating in a hobby or sporting activity, going on day trips or holidays
  • Support with medical appointments and any other support that may contribute to helping them achieve their goals while staying healthy, happy and safe

What you'll need:

  • You'll be an active member of your local community, have passion, energy and a background that has previously seen you working or volunteering in a role supporting people from community groups including Aged, Disability or Children & Youth

You'll have:

  • Certificate III in Disability Support
  • Confidence with smart phones and digital devices or willingness to learn
  • QLD Driver's License and roadworthy registered vehicle
  • Blue Card and Yellow Card or willingness to obtain
  • Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.
