Who You Are

Our team is seeking an experienced and creative YouTube Video Assembly Editor. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.

Your Responsibilities and Skills

• Understanding what keeps the Eystreem/Firelight Audience engaged and intrigued (Keeping viewers "Hooked")
• Ability to mimic existing Pacing
• Understanding Cuts, Flow and Variation in Tempo (Leaving no "Dead Space" & Being aware of the "Pace")
• Having a Creative outlook (Keeping up to date with the Minecraft Community & Trends in social media and pop culture)
• Being able to recognize Creative Mode and not leaving it the Final Cut
• Able to tell a Story through Multiple People
• Able to tell Multiple Stories in One Video
• Knowing when to cut out things that "Drag On"
• Keeping an Organised timeline with Files, Folders, Markers and Comments.
• Active communication with your VFX/SFX Editor as needed.
• Color Code the Timeline as needed and share those Color Codes with your teams.
• Able to do Subtitles if needed

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of experience in video editing.
• Experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, AVD in first 30 seconds, Impressions, etc)
• Experience in "Cutting"
• Great communication and activeness.
• Experience in Premiere Pro.
• Ability to meet and understand deadlines.
• Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
• Knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media and pop-culture trends.
