The Opportunity - About the Role
In this role you will contribute to the group's growth strategies through identification and execution of development site opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of asset types, which will allow a great breadth of exposure.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Identify and execute development site transactions.
- Assist with the analysis, investigation and research of targeted opportunities.
- Prepare feasibilities and cash flow models.
- Assist with identifying risks and potential mitigation strategies.
- Assist with the due diligence process with internal and external advisors.
- Assist with the preparation of investment proposals.
- Assist with coordination of the internal approvals process.
- Engage and collaborate with key internal customers or stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Establish working relationships and to drive positive business outcomes (eg General Managers, National Managers, Development Managers, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Group Strategy and Research etc).
- Keep uptodate with industry changes and develop a network within the industry.
- Implement stakeholder relationship management initiatives as agreed.
- Evaluate CR&S and HS&E implications in all capital transaction opportunities.
About You
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Property or Finance (preferred).
- Preferably has previous experience being involved in the valuation, investigation or transaction of development sites.
- Operational and financial experience in managing and/or developing property assets will be highly regarded.
- Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills.
- Customer focus anticipate and understand the needs of both internal and external customers.
- Analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Accountable and takes ownership of business objectives.
- Ability to develop professional networks with agents, developers, property consultants etc.
- Alignment to Stockland values and culture.
- Sound problem solving skills and a lateral thinker
