We are seeking experienced and knowledgeable Disability Support Workers for current casual vacancies.

You will need to be able to work one to one and as part of a team in a group setting.

The aim of the role is to provide quality support for our clients in achieving their goals. This is a casual role.

Role Requirements

  • Hours after school 2:005:30pm
  • Hours in School Holidays 92 or 103 will vary.
  • Northern Adelaide
  • Interest in working with children, good communication skills
  • Confident with transporting kids.
  • Must be good with swimming
  • Experience in behaviours of concerns
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • A minimum of Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support and/or industry experience
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current paid NDIS worker screening check & Blue Card
  • Current drivers' licence, suitable car and comprehensive car insurance as employees may be required to transport clients in their own car.
  • Covid Vaccination (desirable)
  • Must be able to work sleepovers, weekdays, weekends and public holidays (all rotating)
  • Have a commitment to supporting and advocating the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disability
  • Previous experience working with clients presenting complex behaviours.
  • Ability to show initiative and resilience.
  • Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and possess a
    NDIS Worker Orientation Module
