Senior Business Analyst - Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)


As a Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for leading workstreams within the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program and will include defining business requirements for a TPRM technology solution.

This new solution will support in managing the end-to-end risk environment related to third-party arrangements across the bank and is part of the broader ExCo endorsed Procurement Re-Imagined Program.

TPRM is an area of increasing focus with a significant opportunity to enhance process and build an integrated and streamlined solution that enhances user (business and third-party) experience and supports the banks strategy to partner more with third-parties, with an acknowledgement of the breadth of risks and regulatory requirements that introduces (e.g.

Data/Privacy, Information Security, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Outsourcing, Financial Crime, Cloud, Modern Slavery etc).

What will your day look like
As a Senior Business Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management, you will be accountable for

  • Working with Technology partners and TPRM stakeholders to ensure the development of a requirements framework for the TPRM technology solution
  • Development of TPRM business requirements through engagement and collaboration with TPRM stakeholders
  • Translating business requirements into function technical requirements and working in coordination with Technology Partners to ensure nonfunctional requirements are developed. An understanding of integrations and architecture would be advantageous in this regard
  • Understanding existing processes, tools and platforms to consolidate and simplify within TPRM solution
  • Documenting processes and procedures and managing requirements throughout the TPRM tooling sub stream
This is a senior role within the team which requires strong leadership, engagement and collaboration skills. We are seeking a strategic operator, who has the ability to develop and deliver initiatives and collaborate with other stakeholders across the business

What will you bring?
The 'must have' knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

  • Strong business analysis (BA) skills, including analysis and elicitation techniques and the ability to define and document requirements in complex and challenging business environment.
  • Industryspecific knowledge in procurement and/or Third-Party Risk within the regulated environment of financial services
  • Ability to influence/manage key stakeholders in a complex environment by communicating direction, rationale and outcomes clearly (bring people on the journey) and a continuous improvement approach based on feedback loops
  • Strong cross functional collaborator with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
The 'good to have' knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or qualification
  • Technical writing, functional design documentation and technical design documentation as required
  • Functional understanding of platforms to understand what is out of the box, configurable, customisable to support business requirements
  • Experience of process mapping/analysis tools and techniques
  • Data analysis skills
