THE FIRM

Whilst a boutique firm, my client manages some very large and interesting businesses that would see you working with turnovers of up to $200m

The Partner is one of a kind No micro-management, embraces a flexible working environment with a focus on output as opposed to hours put in.

The offices are modern and spacious and are centrally located close to Queen Street Mall, cafes, restaurants, central station and Eagle Street pier.

They currently consist of a team of 7 and for the past 7 years have held a 100% staff retention rate – that speaks volumes

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be primarily responsible for providing a wide range of professional services to an impressive and corporate portfolio of clients with a holistic approach. You will engage frequently with your clients and strive for greatness when it comes to your own and client satisfaction.

As the duties of this position are quite diverse and unlike your typical business services role, no two days will be the same.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities including SMSF's
  • Preparation of BAS/IAS/FBT/GST returns
  • Liaising directly with clients
  • Internal practice accounting/bookkeeping

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years' compliance and tax experience within public practice
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous bookkeeping experience advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong ability to prioritise and multitask
  • A friendly and adaptable personality
  • Ability to work well autonomously and be a team player
