  • Full time, fixed term position at our Hawthorn campus
  • The SUPRA scholarship covers tuition fees for up to 4 years and provides and annual (indexed) stipend of $33, rate) for three years. The AHURI topup scholarship provides an annual (nonindexed) stipend of $7,000, for three years.

About the Scholarship

  • Naturebased solutions, green and blue infrastructure, or Circular Economy practices with the potential to transform Australia's housing stock and address the intersection of current affordability and environmental challenges.
  • Incorporating the dimensions of wellbeing and social impact of access to affordable and appropriate housing, including monetization of impacts and qualitative evidence that support better policy and economic cases for investment in affordable housing.
  • Equitability and spatial dynamics in housing market adaptations in relation to urban sustainability transitions, climate change and/or resilienceinformed urban development.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Familiarity and prior knowledge of with main academic, policy and methodological debates and issues relating to your chosen field of interest.
  • Passion for understanding urban transitions through indepth research.
