We are seeking someone who will contribute to the ongoing success of our iconic brand, in this dynamic HR Advisor role, based at our vibrant Mount Waverley Head Office.

The role is part of a dynamic People Advisory team and offers a unique opportunity for a HR professional to deliver bottom line results and contribute to Metricon's ongoing business success.

As the key HR contact for a select group of business units within Victoria, the role's responsibility spans a range of HR activities and projects.

Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing quality and commercially effective advice to employees and business leaders whilst empowering the Managers in building people capability
  • The role offers a unique opportunity for a HR professional to deliver bottom line results and contribute to Metricon's ongoing business success
  • Providing high level HR advice
  • Policy review and interpretation
  • Employee engagement activities
  • Performance management
  • Talent management
  • Succession planning; and
  • Project management of key HR initiatives.

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 plus years' experience in a Generalist HR role
  • You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team orientation, and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously in an HR business partnering model; and
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations and industrial relations framework desirable, along with exposure to Workcover, HRIS, (eg proficiency in Alesco, desirable) and advanced MS Office skills.
