Avionics Airfield Lighting Pty Ltd is a leading company in providing comprehensive airfield lighting solutions throughout Australasia. The main goal is to ensure the safety and compliance of Airports. We are currently seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on civil projects and airfield ground lighting ventures at various airports across Australia. The position will be based in Melbourne initially.

Responsibilities:

  • Determining the appropriate circuitry, transmission lines, and equipment for airfield usage
  • Interpreting drawings of electrical equipment, applying relevant regulations
  • Completing Documentation and Administration tasks, such as logging work and equipment usage through cloud-based software
  • Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all technical reports, delivering them to customers promptly
  • Utilizing strong technical knowledge for troubleshooting and on-site issue resolution
  • Providing engineering and technical support to junior technicians and staff
  • Building and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Offering project management support for engineering and service operations
  • Performing fault finding, diagnosis, and equipment knowledge for identifying faults

This is a full-time position requiring candidates to hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience.
