About the Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Religious Education Coordinator to join our faith community and assist the Principal in implementing effective teaching and learning programs across the school. They are responsible for implementing effective Religious teaching and learning programs and within the school.
This appointment is temporary as it replaces a teacher who is on leave or secondment.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote the Catholic Tradition to the school community
- Organise, promote and attend appropriate school and parish religious celebrations
- Promote prayer, reflection and faith development within the staff and student communities
- Communicate relevant details of the religious teaching and learning program to clergy and parents
- Communicate Sacramental information to relevant grades and coordinate retreats and celebrations with the Parish Priest.
- Ensure the implementation of the new Religious Education Scope and Sequence throughout the school
- Guide teachers in the planning of classroom and school prayer and worship, ensuring a variety of celebrations appropriate for the liturgical year
- Must hold a NSW Working With Children Check registration and a NSW Teaching Accreditation
- Must have commenced or completed relevant degree.
- Demonstrate concern for the pastoral care of staff and students
- Maintain an effective leadership profile and good relationships with staff, students and the community
- Promote positive relationships between Parish Priests, the Parish community and the school
- Actively promote harmonious and cooperative staff relationships
- Demonstrate ethically responsible behaviour
- Model Catholic beliefs and practices
